Edit Your Web Site Images
Images are as important as color on your web pages. They can help convey or set the mood for your message and make your pages appealing. It's good not to overdo image files as too many can slow down the browsers of your visitors. Keep image files as small as possible and choose them carefully.
You will possibly have a business logo, web images, images of your products, buttons and possibly a background image. When you planned your site, you already decided what size these image files initially need to be. If later they need to have size adjusted, it's not that difficult to do, as I will show you.
The main file types for web page images are .jpg, .gif, and .png. Many sites now also include .swf or flash images. Remember that you need to keep your images small so your pages load faster for your visitors.
